Rapid Cure Technologies Achieves Success with ISO 9001 Certification

Rapid Cure Technologies, Inc. develops and manufactures unique resins, coatings, inks and adhesives. They specialize in formulating and supplying customized, rapid-cure chemistries and processes that save energy and space, while increasing quality and productivity. Additionally, their products and processes are more environmentally friendly and user friendly than most conventional technologies.

As Rapid Cure Technologies continues to increase their customer base to include larger globally reaching customers such as GE, ConEd, Eaton, and several large oil and gas suppliers, they have found that ISO certification is a highly sought-after accreditation. Rapid Cure Technologies reached out to TDO, part of the New York MEP and the MEP National Network™, to request support for becoming ISO 9001 certified in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible.

TDO assisted Rapid Cure Technologies with creation of a Quality Manual and guidance towards ensuring all necessary policies, procedures and practices were in place. TDO trained several members of the Rapid Cure Technologies team to be Internal Auditors and led them through an Internal Audit which is a requirement to achieve certification. TDO was also able to help by coordinating the ISO 9001 Certification Audit through a local Registrar and secured grant funding through National Grid to help support the costs of the entire project.
