Purdue MEP Training Results in 14.2% Revenue Increase for Oasis Lifestyle LLC

About

Oasis Lifestyle LLC is a customer focused, premier manufacturer of composite bath fixtures. Oasis believes in the idea of providing a durable and dependable product with a value beyond the price paid. To accomplish this, the company begins with the same raw materials (resin, fiberglass and a mineral additive to promote fire retardancy) used by other bath manufactures. The differences between Oasis and others lie in the raw material proportions of the composite. Simply put, Oasis's product has a higher resin and fiberglass content than competitors for increased composite strength. Plus, Oasis hand rolls each resin and fiberglass application to eliminate air voids, enhancing the durability of the composite structure.

The Challenge

Skilled workforce is in limited supply for many, if not all, manufacturers in Indiana. Due to this situation, Oasis Lifestyle has been forced to do more with less. The company’s team members are the most valuable resource and developing their skills not only helps business, it is simply the right thing to do. With this in mind, Oasis Lifestyle determined an outside provider was needed to continue employees’ professional development. The company turned to Purdue MEP, part of the MEP National Network™, for assistance.

In our over three-year partnership with Purdue MEP, they have played an integral part in taking our team members, and thus our business, to the next level. Their highly skilled and engaging instructors use excellent examples within our plants to help us exceed our customers’ expectations and embody our mission, vision and values. We look forward to continuing our partnership in years to come.
