NIST in Hawai`i

NIST in Hawaii
- NIST radio station WWVH broadcasts time and frequency information 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to listeners worldwide. The station is located on the Island of Kauai, Hawaii. Learn more about the Kehaka, Kauai Campus
- The Center for Marine Debris Research (CMDR) was established in 2019 as a joint institute between NIST and Hawai`i Pacific University (HPU) to help address the urgent need to understand and solve the global marine plastic pollution problem.
