Reaction gas chromatography - mass spectrometry. Communication 5. Determination of the position of a double bond in alkenes using selective deuteration in the column of a gas Chromatograph-mass spectrometer.

March 1, 1985
Author(s)
Anzor Mikaia, Vladimir Smetanin, Vladimir G. Zaikin, Valentin Vdovin
A GC-MS method is developed for the determination of double bond location in alkenes based on comparative analysis of the mass spectra of corresponding alkanes and their vicinal Dideutero-analogs obtained via online hydrogenation and selective deuteration

A method for the synthesis of bi- and tricyclic saturated hydrocarbons

October 1, 1984
Author(s)
Anzor Mikaia, Leonid S. Glebov, Vladimir G. Zaikin, OA Lesik, EV Marchevskaya, George A. Kliger, Sergai Loktev
Reaction gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is applied to establish optimal conditions for the synthesis of bi- and tricyclic saturated hydrocarbons. Further optimization of the reaction was carried out in a pilot plant.

Reaction gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. 4-structure elucidation of cyclic sulphides by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry with the use of on-line hydrodesulphurization.

September 1, 1984
Author(s)
Anzor Mikaia, Elena Trusova, Vladimir G. Zaikin, Naum Volinsky, Elena Karaulova, Gregory Galpern
A GC-MS method is developed for structure determination of thiacyclanes. It is based on online gas- phase hydro- and deutero-desulfurization on Raney nickel after GC separation and before MS analysis.

Chromatomass spectrometric study of mixtures of aromatic diols using column silylation

November 1, 1983
Author(s)
Anzor Mikaia, Alla V. Antonova, Vladimir G. Zaikin, Nikolay A. Prostakov, Vladimir Y. Rumyantsev, Evgenyi Slivinsky, Sergai Loktev
A GC-MS method is developed for the study of C 4 -C10 aliphatic diols in complex mixtures. The method includes a GC column trimethylsilylation with N,0-bis(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide.
