Katie Rapp is a research librarian at the National Institute of Standards and Technology Research Library. She is the lab librarian for the Information Technology Laboratory and the NIST Center for Neutron Research. She can provide publication impact assessment and venue analyses, market research reviews, literature reviews, and other reference and research services to help NIST staff members increase their research efficiency and productivity. Since joining the Research Library staff in 2013 she has led much of the library's marketing and outreach efforts to NIST researchers. She led a team working with NIST architects to ensure the library's physical space meets the needs of modern researchers. Her interest in history inspires many of her posts on the Research Library's internal blog. Katie has a wide-ranging work history where she gained expertise in project management, qualitative research, writing, editing, and marketing.
