Three 1/12th scale models of the Air Transportable Expeditionary Crane (ATEC) Concept building an aircraft runway.  The far right model demonstrates the ATEC being rolled out of a 2.4 x 2.4 x 6.1 m (8' x 8' x 20') ISO storage container.  The left model demonstrates the three-dimensionally expanded ATEC after removal from the container and carrying a set of deck plates.  The center model includes a vertical stay and horizontal boom allowing simultaneous front and back RoboCranes to place support truss (front) and deck plates (back).  The model is shown on top of half (7.6 m (25')) of the 15 m (25') wide by 275 m (900') long runway.
