NIST in Michigan

Manufacturing USA
NIST serves as the headquarters for the interagency Manufacturing USA program, a network of manufacturing innovation institutes across the country that brings together industry, academia and the public sector to advance American manufacturing. The network includes LIFT in Detroit, which has 340 members. LIFT drives American advanced manufacturing into the future by connecting advanced materials, manufacturing processes, systems engineering and talent development.
