Each fall, in recognition of Cyber Career Week, the Center for Cybersecurity hosts the annual Night of Cyber event.
This year's event will be an open house at the Center for Cybersecurity in downtown Pensacola on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 5-7 pm.
This event is a fantastic opportunity for high school students and anyone considering a career in the field to explore the many possibilities in cybersecurity. You'll learn about different career paths, hear about the University of West Florida's degree programs, tour the facility, view demonstrations by faculty and the Cybersecurity Ambassadors, and get information on our community initiatives and its GenCyber program. There will be door prizes, pizza, and other refreshments, too!
Admission is FREE. We just ask that you register at https://uwf.edu/cybersecurity so that we can have an accurate headcount when ordering food.
If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
The Center for Cybersecurity is located at 220 W. Garden St. (SCI Building) on the 2nd floor. When entering the building, go to the elevators located on the Spring St. (east) side of the building and proceed to the 2nd floor.
