Second Disaster Resilience Workshop – July 30, 2014 in Hoboken, NJ

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, MD, will host the second workshop with the Stevens Institute in Hoboken, NJ on July 30, 2014.

This workshop will be a working meeting for sector-based resilience experts and leaders to directly contribute to the Disaster Resilience Framework document. An updated draft will be available a week or so prior to the workshop. 

Who should attend? NIST invites experienced experts and leaders from a broad array of resilience areas, including emergency management, business continuity, urban planning, engineering, economics, local and regional governance, transportation, water and wastewater, communications, social sciences, electrical power, and disaster planning and recovery.

The NIST-hosted event will begin at 8 a.m. The registration fee is $50.00. Space is limited.
