In order to attend this training you must register with both NEWMA at http://www.newma.us/meetings/annual and NIST Office of Weights and Measures (see right-hand side of this page for details).
This 1.5 day seminar will provide inspectors with an understanding and application knowledge of the NIST Handbook 130 Examination Procedures Outline (EPO) on Price Verification, including the history of why and how it was developed, along with practical application of being able to apply the procedure in a field setting.

There are no prerequisites for this seminar.
Students must be registered in the NIST, OWM Contacts System, be in attendance for the entire class, successfully complete assignments and pass a final assessment. Students who do not fulfill these requirements will not receive a certificate of completion.
State Weights and measures officials only. This training will be held at the location of the Northeastern Weights and Measures Association.
There is no registration fee for this learning event. Participants are responsible for their travel costs.
