1/16th scale model of a bridge construction RoboCrane based from a mobile gantry crane.  The photo shows the orange crane attached to a suspended bridge and placing the center part of three bridge parts to build a 5 m (40') long x 2 lane wide bridge section.  Above the crane is a maypole-type temporary support structure for the bridge.  In the foreground is the next ground pier to reach requiring four 3-part bridge sections with total length of 20 m (160').
