DR. SESHA JOI MOON

Dr. Sesha Joi Moon [she | her | hers] is the chief diversity officer and director of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Office at the National Institute of Standards and Technology within the U.S. Department of Commerce. In this role, her coined philosophical stance is that “diversity is delegating differences and inclusivity is celebrating differences — but equity is elevating differences.” Read her full bio.

DR. JEANITA PRITCHETT

Dr. Jeanita Pritchett [she | her | hers] is a senior diversity, equity, and inclusivity (DEI) strategist in the NIST Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Office. She began her career working as an NRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow and analytical chemist focused on developing reference materials for clinical, food, and forensics-related programs. After spending years at the bench, she decided to pivot her career to pursue her passion: Motivating others to gain clarity and confidence as they navigate their careers while elevating DEI in STEM. Dr. Juan Fung [he | him | his] is a diversity, equity, and inclusivity statistic research analyst in the NIST Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Office and an economist in the Engineering Laboratory’s Applied Economics Office.
