Overview of NIST Conferences

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) located in both Gaithersburg, MD and Boulder, CO offers federal agencies a secure, cost-effective and state-of-the-art meeting facility. 

NIST conferences have repeatedly attracted leading experts in the fields of science and technology worldwide, and our facilities offer a sophisticated setting for sharing research results and building vital partnerships with industry, academia, and government.

The types of conferences we manage/support

The NIST Conference Program is a full-service meeting department. Our professional staff are experts at coordinating conference logistics and registration. We work closely with NIST’s in-house audiovisual group, who can provide hybrid capabilities. We specialize in managing small- and large-scale events and offer a wide variety of services. We support both onsite and offsite conferences, and in-person, hybrid and virtual events. 

Overview of our Event Facilities

NIST Gaithersburg campus offers 14 conference rooms that can host up to 750 and the NIST Boulder campus offers 13 conference rooms that can host up to 350 attendees as well as a full-service conference program to ensure a successful event in accordance with all government rules and regulations.
