Gloria Solomon, a true GRITS (girl raised in the south), moved to Maryland and joined NIST MEP in 2013. She has been in her role as an FPO for almost three years. Gloria is passionate about individual and corporate growth and progress. She studied business at UNC-Greensboro, and Wake Forest University, both in North Carolina, and is currently working on her dissertation focusing on leadership at Walden University. Gloria enjoys working with MEP Center staff by applying her knowledge and skills to help achieve NIST MEP’s mission to enhance the productivity and technological performance of U.S. manufacturing.
Andrew Nobleman is a Resource Manager for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership program. He enjoys taking in the extracurricular activities offered at NIST's main campus, volunteering for the NIST blogs, and finding new ways to challenge himself. In his free time, Andrew and his family are attempting to visit all the National Parks in the United States.
Polaris MEP is a statewide non profit organization that provides competitive manufacturing business improvement programs to grow RI’s manufacturing industry. Polaris MEP is part of the MEP National Network and a business unit of the University of Rhode Island Research Foundation. Since 1996 Polaris MEP has delivered improvement solutions to over 750 Rhode Island manufacturers to help them achieve sustainable and profitable growth.
Steve Campbell is an economist in the Manufacturing Research and Program Evaluation group with the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Prior to this position, Steve served as an economist in NIST’s Technology Partnership Office, the Advanced Technology Program (ATP) where he also served as the senior advisor to the Director of the program, and the Technology Innovation Program (TIP) where he served as the Group Leader for the Impact Analysis Group.
