Abstract

The National Institute of Standards and Technology[s Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory (MEL) works with the U.S. manufacturing industry to develop and apply infrastructural technology, measurements, and standards to meet their needs. This report contains summaries of MEL's projects that are in support of the U.S. industry's needs. Each project summarizes the resources, objectives, industry needs that are addressed, accomplishments, current plans, five-year plans, and related standards work.
