Abstract
In accordance with a notice published in the Federal Register, a workshop was conducted on June 23, 2000, at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to obtain public comment on a proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between NIST and the National Cooperation for Laboratory Accreditation (NACLA). Written comments were also solicited. The views expressed at the workshop and in the written comments strongly endorsed the NIST-NACLA MOU, indicating that the MOU should be signed.Citation
