Abstract

In honor of both the Boulder Labs 50 Year Anniversary and 50 years of the NIST/National Research Council Postdoctoral Associateship Program, we will hold the First Boulder Labs Postdoctoral Poster Symposium on Thursday, June 24, 2004, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Radio Building Rm 1103/1105. In total, 40 posters will be presented by postdoctoral associates covering a broad spectrum of research topics. The poster subjects are representative of the range of research that is carried out in the Department of Commerce Boulder Labs. The abstracts listed in the program were furnished in response to a call for abstracts that went to NOM, NIST, NTIA and their joint institutes. Participation is limited to postdocs and guest researchers who are within 7 years of receiving their PhD. Each presenter will benefit from the opportunity to present their accomplishments to a wider audience and from the opportunities it offers to increase their networking with other postdocs, the rest of our staff, and with off-campus guests. Awards will be presented for the Best Poster Presentations. Staff who attend the poster session will learn more about the wide range of research that is carried out in the Boulder Labs.
