Abstract

This paper presents observations and recommendations regarding the organization of MSID''s (Manufacturing systems Integration Division) publicly accessible information. The paper documents the current structure an) its formative rationales, and lays out a directory structure design for the near future to accommodate changing information dissemination mechanism requirements. It addresses issues of configuration management and maintenance of information, as well as issues of presentation and navigation of the information. Finally, it provides guidelines for MSID staff in organizing information for external dissemination.
