Abstract
Thousands of latent impression distal phalanx images and associated exemplar fingerprint images were collected for a study of forensic fingerprint examiner's ability to make suitability determinations. These images are being released for free to the research community in a new dataset from the National Institute of Standards and Technology entitled Special Database (SD) 303.Citation
