Progress Report on the Federal Building and Fire Investigation of the World Trade Center Disaster. The report summarizes the progress made by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the cooperation it has received from a variety of organizations since the December update. It covers the following:1. Availability of funding.2. Status of the implementation of the National Construction Safety Team (NCST) Act.3. Establishment and first meeting of the NCST Advisory Committee.4. Progress in identifying and collecting materials relevant to the investigation.5. Selection of external experts and contractors to support the WTC investigation team.12.
