Abstract
The technical activities of the NIST Metallurgy Division during Fiscal Year 1997 are described. Projects are grouped under the appropriate Programs of the Materials Science and Engineering Laboratory. The descriptions of each project include discussions of objectives, technical description, planned outcome, external collaborations, accomplishments, and outputs.
