Abstract

This paper describes the activity model as proposed for use in the Internet Commerce for Manufacturing (ICM), a National Advanced Manufacturing Testbed (NAMT) project. A model was selected from several projects involved in the printed wiring assembly. Reviews were held, and the portion of the model which was determined to be within the scope of the ICM project was selected. The final model has been analyzed and adjusted where appropriate to assure that the advanced supply chain functions to be developed for ICM were accurately represented. Finally, the model was converted to an indented list so as to focus on the details of the connections to the model functions. The model herein is expected to be used as a basis of the evolving supply chain testbed.
