Abstract
This document is a Phase III document of Initial Manufacturing Exchange Specification (IMES) for the process plan - workstation level. It follows the Phase II document of the requirement analysis for the process planning specification. The Phase II document provides a scope and domain for the specification, and the definition of required application objects. The Phase III document presents an information model that specifies the application objects (identified in the Phase II document) and the relationships among the application objects. The information model is presented in Express language and is independent of any implementation method.
