Abstract

This report summarizes the Information-Based Manufacturing Program of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) by providing an overview of the program and highlighting key accomplishments that have been achieved. The Information-Based Manufacturing Program is developing competence across NIST in the use of information technology to aid in the conduct of research, accelerate the development of standards, and improve the delivery of NIST measurement and testing services. This report also provides summary descriptions of the technical projects that constitute the programs research portfolio.
