Abstract

This document is the report of the Future SC4 architecture PWI. It provides information about the draft “Industrial Data Integrated Ontologies and Models (IDIOM) architecture specification” created by the PWI. The work of the Preliminary Work Item (PWI) team was conducted by means of teleconferences, an SC 4 SharePoint workspace, two face-to-face meetings, and a project wiki. The initial work of the PWI team was presented to TC 184/SC 4 at its meeting in Rotterdam in November 2009. A draft PWI report was created the technical content developed on the project wiki, and from the comments made at the first review in Rotterdam. Team review of the draft PWI report, lead to the decision to divide the report into: • a draft “Industrial Data Integrated Ontologies and Models (IDIOM) architecture specification”; • a report of the Future SC4 architecture PWI.
