Abstract

The effects of Gamma sterilization from a 60Co source on the dispersion and optical properties of single-wall carbon nanotubes in aqueous dispersion is reported. Samples in sealed ampoules of different length refined populations separated via a centrifugation technique, were exposed to a level of approximately 28 kGy of radiation; this level is sufficient to ensure sterility of the dispersions.
