Abstract
NIST performed a series of independent analyses to guide advanced manufacturing research investments. This brief reports on results from the analysis of the additive manufacturing sector The study finds that closing these gaps supports the research, development, production and diffusion activities of national laboratories, universities and firms alike and delivers substantial economic benefit to the advanced manufacturing sector.Citation
