Abstract
This report is a long range plan for the NIST Algorithm Testing and Evaluation Program for Coordinate Measuring Systems (ATEP-CMS). ATEP-CMS is a Special Test Service provided at NIST through the Office of Measurements Services Calibration Program. ATEP-CMS is a service for testing and evaluating data analysis software found in coordinate measuring systems. The purpose of the long range plan is to outline the projected evolution of the service so that the service will evolve systematically.
