Fluctuations and Nanoscale Control Software (Archived)

Summary

MATLAB Software [1-2] developed and referenced within Fluctuations and Nanoscale Control projects are available for download from this page. If you use this code for your work, please cite the appropriate literature referenced in the documentation for each file.

Description

For each file YYY.m, type "doc YYY" from the Matlab command prompt for documentation, literature references, and usage guidelines.

DSigma2_Est.m
Estimates the diffusion coefficient (D) and localization noise (σ2 or "Sigma2") from single-particle tracking data. It implements the algorithms for the maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) and the optimal least-square fit (OLSF). See the documentation for details and references.

VWCM.m
Virtual window center-of-mass position estimator for unbiased single-particle localization from noisy fluorescence images.
