Yang Guo is a senior computer scientist in the Computer Security Division at Information Technology Lab (ITL), NIST. Prior to his current position, Dr. Guo was a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Labs, Crawford Hill, New Jersey from 2010 to 2015, and a Principal Scientist at Technicolor (formerly Thomson) Corporate Research at Princeton, NJ. He obtained his Ph.D. from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in year 2000.
His research interests span broadly over the distributed systems and networking, with a focus on cybersecurity, software defined networking (SDN), and AI/ML. Dr. Guo is the author of many published papers and patents. See his publications at Google scholar and patents here.
