Kerrianne Buchanan (Fed)

Social Scientist

Dr. Kerrianne Buchanan is a senior program analyst within the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Program Coordination Office (PCO). She supports NIST leadership with programmatic and strategic planning analysis of NIST programs and on topics related to domestic and international science, technology, research, and standards. Kerrianne joined NIST in 2020 as a social scientist in the Information Technology Laboratory. She conducted research seeking to improve how people understand and interact with technology. Kerrianne received her Ph.D. in psychological sciences from the University of Texas at Dallas and received a B.S. in psychology from the Ohio State University.
