Dr. Yang Guo joined NIST in 2015, where he currently is a computer scientist with the Computer Security Division (CSD). He has over 20 years of R&D and project management experience in industry and government agencies. Before NIST, he was a member of technical staff at Bell Labs and a Principal Scientist at Technicolor/Thomson Corporate Research. His research interests span broadly distributed systems and networking, focusing on cybersecurity, High-performance Computing (HPC), software-defined networking (SDN), and AI/ML. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers in renowned technical journals and conferences and holds 18 US patents. He also leads the NIST High-performance Computing Security Working Group (HPCS-WG).
