NIST is offering a grant of up to $200,000 for the development, production and distribution of science and/or mathematics curricula resources for high school classrooms that reflect the upcoming redefinition of units within the international system of measurement (also called the SI or the metric system).
To apply to this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) visit grants.gov. Please read the application requirements carefully when creating and submitting your application. Applications must be received at grants.gov no later than Monday, January 28, 2019 March 6, 2019.
NOTE: This NOFO was re-opened as a result of the recent lapse of appropriations for the United States Department of Commerce. Entities that submitted applications prior to the original submission deadline do not need to take any additional action. All applications received prior to the original submission deadline will be reviewed in accordance with the process described in Section V.3. of this NOFO. However, entities that submitted an application prior to the original submission deadline have the option to submit an updated application, provided that it is received at Grants.gov prior to the new application deadline, stated above. If NIST receives more than one application from an applicant entity, NIST will review only the last-in-time submission. No other changes have been made to this NOFO.
