Workplace Inspection Program
The Workplace Inspection Program's mission is to support NIST's safety, health, and environmental goals through comprehensive workplace inspections, expert guidance, and innovative solutions, ensuring a safer and more compliant work environment.
The Workplace Inspection Program (WIP) Suborder provides a uniform approach to conducting comprehensive safety and health inspections of workplaces. The requirements of this suborder apply to all NIST-owned facilities and to all off-site non-residential workplaces where NIST employees and covered associates conduct work for periods of six months or more.
