Compressed Gas Safety Program

This suborder establishes how compressed gases are purchased, received, stored, used, and disposed. It covers all compressed gas cylinders, vessels, and systems from small lecture bottles to standard compressed gas bottles/cylinders. Proper safety practices are addressed for common inert gases, flammable gases, pyrophoric gases, and toxic gases, including the highly toxic “semiconductor gases.”
