Chemical Waste Accumulation/Disposal at NIST Boulder Program

This Chemical Waste Accumulation/Disposal at NIST Boulder Suborder defines requirements for managing chemical waste at the NIST Boulder and WWV/WWVB sites. NIST Boulder is regulated as a small quantity generator (SQG) of hazardous waste, which come from laboratory and support activities. Some chemical wastes are considered hazardous and some non-hazardous (as defined in 40 CFR 260 and 6 CCR 1007-3), but all must be managed appropriately from initial generation to the final disposal.
