Bloodborne Pathogens Program

The Bloodborne Pathogens Suborder requires users to eliminate or minimize occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens (BBP) and other potentially infectious materials (OPIMs) in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard for Bloodborne Pathogens, 29 CFR 1910.1030. Those who work with human blood, human blood products, human cell lines, etc., shall follow this suborder’s requirements.
