Abstract
The National PDES Testbed project at NIST is focused on the development and implementation of the emerging international Standards for the Exchange of Product model data (STEP). One subproject within the Testbed is the effort to establish an Applications Protocol Development Environment (APDE). This report documents the specifications for an APDE. The specifications describe were derived from the requirements described in an earlier report.
