Abstract
The proceedings provides the background, goals, activities, and results of a National Institute of Standards and Technology-sponsored workshop on Knowledge- Based Systems Interoperability (KBSI). Twenty-four participants shared ideas, identified issues and developed action items concerning KBSI. The 5 principal issues that emerged were: characterization, usability, vocabulary, collaboration and cost.Citation
