Abstract
This user's guide will assist software users in the understanding of the theory and procedures underlying the High-dimensional Empirical Linear Prediction (HELP) Toolbox, developed for use with the MATLAB(r) mathematical software environment. The HELP Toolbox is a comprehensive tool designed to optimize the testing of electronic devices and instruments. It can be used to produce and evaluate linear models of electronic device behavior from numerous exhaustive device-representative data sets, and to select an optimal set of test points. The software is menu-driven via a mouse and is designed to allow operation without knowledge of the mathematics involved. This user's guide introduces the user to the approach, provides a theoretical overview, gives menu and software descriptions, and contains a software tutorial.
