Abstract
Broad-bandwidth vibrationally-resolved sum frequency generation spectroscopy has been used to measure the molecular orientation distribution at polystyrene/dielectric interfaces. A novel microcavity structure allows isolation of the free or buried interface and reveals opposite absolute orientations.
