This letter report provides a project update reflecting the activities to date under the FY2013 interagency agreement between CPSC and NIST. The objective of that agreement is to develop testing and measurement protocols for determining the quantities and properties of compounds released from spray polyurethane foam (SPF) as it is applied in residential settings. This document focuses specifically on the project task b, titled Experimental Testing Phase I, which involved chamber testing of SPF samples to identify amine catalysts and aldehydes emissions after at least 24 hours of aging.
