Abstract
The standardization of a new 239Pu radioactivity solution with considerable impurity was investigated. The massic activity of 239Pu was obtained through 4πα liquid scintillation (LS) counting with correction for significant amounts of other plutonium isotopic impurities made by a combination of isotope dilution alpha spectrometry and isotopic composition measurements by mass spectrometry.Citation
