Justin H. Wilde is a research chemist in the Radioactivity Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He received a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Connecticut and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Virginia. Justin’s subsequent postdoctoral work focused on the production and study of novel PET radiotracers for applications such as imaging stroke, Alzheimer's disease, and infection. After time in industry researching antibody-drug conjugates for cancer treatment, Justin joined NIST and the Radioactivity group in 2023. He currently works in Calibration Services, specifically calibration of radionuclides of interest to nuclear medicine. Justin also contributes to areas such as primary standardizations and liquid scintillation counting.
