Abstract
Mobile applications have become an integral part in the mission of the federal government and public safety. There exist many techniques that seek to assure these applications are free from software bugs and vulnerabilities. However, a unified list of capabilities that define these techniques is not defined for mobile applications. This paper, through a partnership with industry, seeks to be the first set in defining this list by examining the current state-of- the-art of the analysis capabilities of mobile application vetting services.Citation
