- Development of informatic tools and repositories for phase-based materials property data, including thermodynamics, diffusion, molar volume, and elastic properties.
- Development of diffusion mobility descriptions for the Co-Ni-based superalloys.
- Development of materials design methods that include sustainability .
- Development of impurity tolerant-alloys
- Development of processing-structure-property relations for metals additive manufacturing
Research Interests
Application of multicomponent thermodynamics and diffusion mobilities to predict microstructure evolution in variety of materials, including steels, Ni and Co-base superalloys, and other structural materials.
Organizer of the NIST Diffusion Workshop series.
