WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Department of Commerce announced today the signing of a final award of up to $100 million to Rigetti under the CHIPS and Science Act. The R&D funded by this award addresses key technical challenges to develop and scale next-generation superconducting quantum computing technologies, including readout electronics, cryostat architectures, and fabrication capability for high-connectivity chip architectures.
