New Working Groups Launched for NICE Community Coordinating Council

NEW NICE WORKING GROUPS

The NICE Community Coordinating Council (previously NICE Working Group) is pleased to announce new working groups that align with the NICE Strategic Plan. The new working groups will be focused on developing implementation plans for three strategic plan goals:

  • Promote the Discovery of Cybersecurity Careers and Multiple Pathways
  • Transform Learning to Build and Sustain a Diverse and Skilled Workforce
  • Modernize the Talent Management Process to Address Cybersecurity Skills Gaps

Each Working Group will conduct an ongoing environmental scan of programs, projects, and initiatives related to the corresponding strategic plan’s goals and objectives to assess the scope and sufficiency of efforts.  The groups will also identify gaps where more attention and effort are needed.  The groups will identify strategies and tactics to implement the corresponding objectives to their strategic goal and metrics to measure progress.
