Draft NIST Interagency Report (NISTIR) 8200, Interagency Report on Status of International Cybersecurity Standardization for the Internet of Things (IoT) Released for Comment
The Interagency International Cybersecurity Standardization Working Group (IICS WG), which was established in December 2015 by the National Security Council's Cyber Interagency Policy Committee, developed a draft NIST Interagency Report (NISTIR) 8200, Interagency Report on Status of International Cybersecurity Standardization for the Internet of Things (IoT). The purpose of this report is to inform and enable policymakers, managers, and standards participants as they seek timely development and use of cybersecurity standards in IoT components, systems, and services. Comments are being solicited until April 18, 2018 to augment that information. Comments will be posted online as they are received.
