Spanish Language Overviews of NIST Community Resilience Guides Now Available

Two popular brochures highlighting National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) planning guides to help communities to strengthen their resilience are now available in Spanish. The new translations aim to expand awareness of the planning guides and help to further engage community officials, residents, and businesses in the resilience planning process.

The brochures are:

  • HACIA UNA COMUNIDAD MÁS RESILIENTE: Una Vista General de la Guía de Planificación de Resiliencia Comunitaria para Edificios y Sistemas de Infraestructura (Toward a More Resilient Community: An Overview of the Community Resilience Planning Guide for Buildings and Infrastructure Systems)
  • DECISIONES INTELIGENTES: Una visión general de la Guía de Decisiones Económicas de Resiliencia Comunitaria para Edificios y Sistemas de Infraestructura (Smart Choices: An Overview of the Community Resilience Economic Decision Guide for Buildings and Infrastructure Systems)

NIST’s Community Resilience website includes links to each brochure at: https://www.nist.gov/topics/community-resilience. Printed copies are available upon request to: resilience [at] nist.gov
